I loaded it onto the lap top input the codes restarted the program pluged in to the truck. The program interfaced with the truck. I read the stored codes cleared them. I then wanted to monitor sensors.
On the live data tabs when you can chose exactly which parameter/sensor you want I have some odd options like transmission solenoid 3, torque convertor off for traction control? There are no engine rpms, no coolant temp, no boost, no icp, half are transmission related. There was vehicle speed option and it did not move when I started driving the truck.
If my truck is running and I ask it to read vehicle information it makes the engine run like it's running out of fuel and stalls. I did it twice to make sure that's what happened. It can not read my vehicles vin with ae. Maybe I am not using the program properly, I can not find anything in the user guide to help with my issues. I did fill out the vehicle info as far as 2001, ford, powerstroke 7.3l.
