what all would
I have to do to run 100% wvo? i got access to about 30 gallons a week.is b100 in one tank and number 2 in the other tank ok if i run the bio first and then the 2 behind it? or would i be better off just running a 50/50 mix?
thanks

Re: what all would
WVO and Bio are 2 different things. WVO is straight veggie oil. Bio or b100 is chemically altered to run in a diesel engine with no modifications. WVO is best run in a 2 tank heated system, like a vegistroke or greasecar kit. I've heard of people mixing with good results, but I've also heard bad things about the WVO settling out of the diesel. I haven't personally tested this, but I may try it just to see.

Re: what all would
Biodiesel is a little intimidating to get into at first because of all the chemistry, but it's really not all that bad. Go to biodieselcommunity.org and read up on it. It takes a little work, but is worth it, IMO.
To answer your question, your oil is probably fine to make bio with. You'll learn how to test the oil on the site I mentioned to see how good it is. |

Re: what all would
I say if you can get it for fee do it. Then just sit on it for awhile & stockpile it till you figgure out what your going to do with it. By that time you will have a good supply to start out with.
