225's and stock trans and turbo

Anyone want to guess how long my stock trans and turbo will hold with 225's?! I know it's not gonna last long but If I can make one spectacular run in ennis with 225's and spray I will be happy.......anyone have experience with 225's and stock trans/turbo?

with twin turbo's and 225's, i can only run the tow file, tranny slips in the race file, so far i have 5000miles on my stock trans and she's done

Not bad, I have another trans ready to go in if/when it goes but I was just curious if this has been attempted and the results..... I have a feeling the turbo will go before the trans. I guess we will see what happens next week

If you know a good bookie, come up w/ odds for what one will pop first. if you play the line right, you might make enough money to buy an upgraded trans or turbo w/ the earnings lol.

whether it runs 11s or 17s, its gonna be a fun pass!

I ran a year on stock trany 225's and s300 went 12.9 in the 1/4mi. It's all in the tune and how you let the trany learn. Stock tranny still feels strong.

Well its alive. Quite some interesting things about this setup. stock fuel pump/delivery system is holding 40-42 psi, temps are not as retarded as i would have thought after dialing the pw back. and the difference in smoke output from 190/100s to 225/100s is night and day. Good news is, transmission is hanging in there...for now.

See what happens when Mike opens the bottle Saturday.
