blowing coolant and warranty heads
my truck has been at ford for a couple weeks now (5) for spraying coolant. this is the second time its been there in 2 months. last time it was there they claimed it was the heads that were warped, so i put h11 studs hoping for a better seal wit the new heads. i know a few people that have gotten there heads replaced at this dealership and i have heard a couple things about the reman. heads that they put on trucks for warranty, now we all know that for is supposed to magna flux and test them, but what is this i hear about fords factory specs being ok with the heads being off by 1-4 thousandths? according to ford the heads are made like that to bend and seat properly. what do you guys think about that? im supposed to be getting the truck back soon and am wondering if its worth it to mill the heads down to 0? and also about putting elites coolant lines on the heads to get that coolant flowing.
