Re: auto to 5spd

the crossmembers are different, and for simplitcity and aesthetics, the trans wiring is different but is a direct plug in, i got the gear indicator block-off plate and upper steering column cover. dont forget the hydraulic line, there is a clip for it on the cab and different driveline lengths.

Talking Re: auto to 5spd

I have a 6 speed here and front shaft . they have a pump in them to circulate fluid through the Rad. like a Auto. I never saw one till we got this one a month ago. Is this how the 6 speeds are or is this something Ford was experimenting with ?

Re: auto to 5spd

Not all the zf6's have pressure pumps, I think 2000 and up have pumps in them.

Also don't forget you need to change the adapter plate between the engine and trans, the auto plate is thicker.
