Hard shifting

My truck shifts hard until the fluid warms up... Is this normal? Please excuse the stupid question, but i don't know much about transmissions.

Mine shifts a bit harder too when the fluid is cold,and much harder when cold on the 3-4 shift when turning the od button off and on again(3-4) Subscribed!

no its not supose to is it bad not exactly how hard is hard ? like cherp tires hard or slight jerk or i think some parts just fell of shift ?
