dual module computer need help

I bought a 350 a couple of weeks ago and i was having problems with the trans... come find out nothing is wrong with the trans.. he thinks its in the computer.. hes a friend of a family has been doing this kind of stuff for a long time i dont second guess his judgment... He said its really hard to find one of these computers... I guess its a sealed dual module computer.. If anyone has any knowledge on where i can find one it would help out a lot! hes had my truck two weeks!! It would be nice to drive it again! Thanks
