Weight of 24' enclosed auto hauler?
Looking at getting a 24' hauler, does anyone know approx. how much they weigh?
Any brands to avoid? Thanks |

Re: Weight of 24' enclosed auto hauler?
my 28 foot Classic Dominator weighs around 4400 Dry, and with the tool box and the cabinets, i bet its around 5000 without a car in it now....
But Pace American seem to pull much worse than a Classic, or a Hallmark from what I have seen about at the track...

Re: Weight of 24' enclosed auto hauler?
I have a 24' enclosed trailer, manly used for storage of a car.
Tows great to the track and back, water tight. I think its a load trail . Paid 5500.00 for it used, but its nice and no issues with it. Should be around 4K with nothing inside, plus the turbo regal inside is 3200. My single axle truck is all over the road, but my dually never knows its back there. Just depends on what your towing it with, and how much total weight, and what your comfortable towing. I wished i spent the extra few grand for a 28 or 30. Ive almost thought of buying a few more trailers as storage, no issues with my car for over a year inside on and off. BW |
