Is this a good single battery option?

I am thinking about moving my batteries to the frame. I am trying to find a single sealed battery that will do the work of the two batteries I now have.
I plan to build a tray and mount the battery/ batteries on the outside of the pass. frame rail.

Here are the batteries that I now have.

Odyssey PC1750T

These work great, but I am thinking about this as a single battery replacement.

PC1800 Odyssey Battery

Anybody have any ideas or recommendations? The CCA and everything else is pretty close between the two batteries.

Re: Is this a good single battery option?

Your OEbatteries had 1500 CCA's.

The batteries you are now using have 1860 CCA's.

That single battery has 1300 CCA's.

I read the specs a bit more carefully after posting.

DO you know of any single that can compare?

Re: Is this a good single battery option?

Are those able to be mounted at different angles, or only straight up and down?

Not that would be suitable for frame mounting or that would be smaller than the two you now have.

According to the specs in the link he provided, the batteries he has now have 930 CCA's. I'm not sure where you're getting your numbers, but it's rare to see and OE or even many aftermarket batteries with more than 1000 CCA's.

Re: Is this a good single battery option?

I have run 1 of the Optima Commercial yellow top's. They are rated @ 1125 ca and 900 cca. They also can be mounted any direction. I just finished a battery tray to hold 2 of these on the drivers side of my Ex with the CR.
