compound turbo question

I was wondering if it was possible to make a compound set up using the stock charger and another larger turbo? Would I need an intercooler? If it is possible what charger would you suggest? Custom tuning? I'm just trying to get everything in line for this, I'm also porting the heads, and getting studs, anything else?

Re: compound turbo question

bigger injectors like stg3's or hybrids, definitely need ic, valve springs and push rods wouldn't be a bad idea either an h2e would be a good turbo

Re: compound turbo question

I used the stocker for a bit along with a s488. It worked ok but it was much better when I went to a 66mm hx55 and the s488.

Re: compound turbo question

Super stroker, I'd love to go that route, but I'm just wanting something that'll wake mine up a bit, after thinking about it today, here's what I've come up with. Keep my stage 1's, some of Tony's tunes, 910 springs, chromemoly pushrods, IC or water-meth?, studs. Would that work out ok? Oh and a South Bend clutch of some sort, any suggestions?
