Blown Head gasket ???? 2001 7.3
So, where to start... Truck started running rough. Acted like hi pres oil problem. Towed in, checked oil pres, ok. #1 and #3 cylinder faults, switched inj's around, no difference. Found aerated fuel return, compression in the fuel. Installed 80hp Industrial Inj's, fixed aerated fuel. I then went ahead and installed the ITP regualted return system, very cool, Fired her up and ran beautiful !!!. I then replaced my Edge evolution with a TS 6 pos chip,,,,Ran awesome....Got it all done, took a few short test drives, all good. Loaded up, hit the Freeway and Boom!! Coolant everywhere...excessive pres in the coolant tank....Head Gasket Gone.....I was only running 32lbs of boost.....What happened ????

hahah i know i know,,,,it happend to me, i think you need some studs. mine did the same thing at 35psi. i put studs in itand it holds it easy now.
