Re: fuel pressure problem 1999 e350 HELP!!

Hmmm... Did you check the flow, not just the pressure?

Try opening the drain on the fuel bowel and then turning on the key. The
fuel should come out of the drain with some force... If it just dribbles out
then the fuel pickup or the in-tank filer could be plugged..

Re: fuel pressure problem 1999 e350 HELP!!

got some new info from customer, he put unleaded gas in the tank and ran vehicle for a short distance. truck shut down, had it towed drained tank and changed filter him self. now truck runs good for 5-7 min then looses power and stalls. im running vehicle off a fabed aux tank now, guna see what happens, if ok problem in tank? my other question is would the gas have done any damage to any other parts of the fuel system? thanks jay

If he ran it too long with gas, I believe that will do considerable damage to the injectors. Maybe Golfer (Swamps) will see this, and tell you for sure.
