Try this game and post your result. Lets see who is the best eyeballer. Screen shots will be the best way to verify scores. Maybe some sponsor or site owner could come up with a prize other than bragging rights.
Although on my first attempt had no idea what was happening. I thought it was just asking if I knew what a parallelogram was and didn't pay any attention to actual accuracy. lol.
So I started over after the first one.
If you wanted to cheat, you could easily stick your micrometer, or even a hand ruler to the screen no doubt. I proudly eyeballed them. Only thing I did with my hands was using a picture to block off the annoying extra line length on one of the line segments for the bisect the angle one. But I didn't use it to measure.
Pretty cool. I'll keep playing and see if I can do better.... or far worse, lol.
:hehe:
How bout the 0.2 on the right angle.
On Edit:
Oh damn, are you supposed to do three rounds? I just stopped when the first one came back up. LOL
Average over 3 rounds - 4.07. Nailed one of the midpoints on the money and had a .04 on one of the right angles. Parallelograms and circle mid points are my worst areas.
Your inaccuracy by category:
Parallelogram 7.6 14.9 7.8
Midpoint 8.1 0.0 3.6
Bisect angle 1.6 2.1 4.7
Triangle center 2.5 0.6 0.5
Circle center 6.7 2.8 2.8
Right angle 8.8 1.6 0.4
Convergence 5.0 1.4 2.0
Average error: 4.07 (lower is better)
Did the Micrometer scratch up the screen much?oke:
