Really from being over in Iraq and having a gym that consisted of mostly homemade stuff. You dont need anything fancy to get a great work out it is all about your form and your technique. I used sand bags on a pipe as a curl bar and with that you can do a lot more then you think. Just go with whatever one seems like it is the best for you. If you like swimming and one has a pool get that one. I will say that swiming is the best workout I have ever had for cardio. I have done run swim runs which I ran about 2 miles swam a mile or so and then ran another 2 miles. Talk about a work out.
