I am getting ready to pull my 7.3L Powerstroke and was wondering if anyone had any experience with removing one. I have already removed the bumper radiator etc so I have a ton of room to work. But will i be able to pull it all out in one piece?
I would separate them and do them one at a time. That's the way I did it. Much lighter. 5 more minutes to unhook the transmission from the motor. That way you can also drop the t/case and transmission as one piece.
Thanks everyone...I took your advice and it was actually pretty easy. After pulling it...I realised that was a dumb idea.
