Can someone help me explain this. The front heater works fine but driving down the road the rear heater just gets kind of luke warm. Is there a thermostat or something that could be sticking? I have no idea how this heating system works on these. Maybe I just need to find a way to block off the radiator since it is almost -30 here lately. I just don't recall having any problems with it the last winter I was this cold.
Might have to block up the radiator. I had the same issue, and I threw a piece of cardboard right in front of the radiator, not fully blocking it, but a lil better than 60% of the area is blocked. I made a cut out in the center to let some of the air through. Solved it for me.
Check the bypass valve for proper operation, near the A/c box passenger side of engine compartment near the firewall, also could be bad rheostat in rear blower motor compartment.
