Is there much of a demand for.....
Hey guys, I am just looking for opinions on this but I am currently working with a couple engineers designing a set of traction bars that look good and function. I am building a set for my truck now using 1/4 steel plate and 1/4 wall D.O.M tubing and greasable end links that are rebuildable. I am thinking about making acouple sets and selling them if there is much of a demand. just let me know your opinions. All bracketry is laser cut. I have my rear axle brackets done I am gonna try and post pics tonite later on.

Re: Is there much of a demand for.....
Lots of traction bars already available.
Some better than others. All bolt on at the frame, some bolt on the axle, others weld on. Some options use flex joints if that is what you are using.....which is what it sounds like. If it's fixed with flex joints at each end, there is room for improvements on design unless they are designed to arc perfectly following your spring pack. |

Re: Is there much of a demand for.....
the way these are designed they will allow full flex of the rear springs by utilizing a hanger system. They are using heavy duty hiem joints at all 3 mounting point with rubber bushings inserts in the joint to accomidate vibrations. They are fully greasable.

Re: Is there much of a demand for.....
Couldn't hurt to have one more option out there,...but like DC said,...there are already a bunch, and some of them are members on these truck sites.
Here's the ones I have.. ![]()

Re: Is there much of a demand for.....
when you have axle wrap..the axle is doing a couple things...ones mounted to just the bottom of the axle tube is only addressing one type of axle movement.
