batmowheel for obs

i just recently found these and im curious about them. from what the sight says you can expect a hp bump and up to 200 degree lower egts, which is enough to make me interested. i see they make one for the 99+ 7.3 but not for the older ones, but they should still fit the obs right?. is anyone running one, what do you think

That is also know as a wicked wheel. It is an OBS wheel put in a SuperDuty housing to stop surge in Superdutys. So by you putting it in your truck you would have a STOCK wheel and see absolutely nothing because it is exactly what you took out

Your thinking wicked wheel Brad. The batmo's are a different design. Never seen one used in a 7.3 but in 6.4's everyone brags on them. Never ran one, so I can't say.

Re: batmowheel for obs

yea i dont think they are the same, the wheel i looked at looked like crazy compared to a regular wheel.i do see people with 6.0 and 6.4 saying they get good results, guess ill have to be the test dummy, at 400$ a wheel kinda steep just wanted some proof from people

Re: batmowheel for obs

yea i no its really expensive but they could make one for the obs i haven't had a chance to call them. from what i read with the guys with newer trucks it really improves midrange power and does well at keep the egts a lot cooler. any dyno sheets of before and after was with aftermarket injectors and a chip, if im not mistaken they saw over 100ftlbs of torque with this wheel over stock, so if all that is true 400 doesnt sounds so stupid expensive, but yes i absolutely agree with you especially if they dont make one for my truck. i have to do more research on it, if it sounds like something you guys would be interested in ill keep you posted on my findings

Re: batmowheel for obs

Please show ANY dyno graphs. All I have seen are empty claims with no hard proof of anything

Re: batmowheel for obs

I also saw this wheel. on a site called turbokits.com also saw something on another site(bullseye power) about how they lasted 100k on some cross country tests. they make them for 80mm and 83mm turbos. the company that makes them is bullseye power if I'm not mistaken. looked into it till i saw the price..
TurboKits.com | BatMoWheel 7.3L Compressor Wheel Upgrade for 99-03 Ford Excursion, 99-03 Ford F-Series | Price: $399.00
