tuner = bad injectors?

Hey just bought a 2005 F250 6.0 with 218000 on it and I drove it for two months put tuner in for two days next thing I know my truck is missing on three cylinders and i guess the spool valves went bad? People told me it was from the tuner and other said it was just time for them to start going bad. I replaced the the three bad injectors and the truck is running fine now. Just wondering if its save to put my tuner back in? I dont like the mpg without it lol

The tuner did not cause bad injectors

The tuner didn't cause bad injectors, but if the tunes caused the fuel pressure to drop to unsafe levels that could damage injectors.

I didn't thinks so but just trying to get some opinions thank you for yours! I looked everywhere and could not find anything about tuners making injectors go bad but trying to make sure I want my chip in mostly for mpg but not if I'm gonna keep losing injectors.

Thats what I thought zx but I'm told that my spool valves went bad would that be the part damaged by low fuel pressure? That that would be more plunger/physical damage r the unning low on fuel pressure then the spool valve doesn't that deal with the oil??

I have the diablosport predator. I want a sct livewire but this was free and I only running the 40 hp for mpg reasons I now I heard some bad things about this chip but we've ran them for a long time now with out issue

Any idea how many miles are on the injectors?

As far as I know they are original stock injectors the guy we bought the truck off did upgrade slot but never said anything about injectors

150K is about all that you can expect out a 6.0 injector.. I don't know what your tuner does as far as fuel pressure but If it were me, I would wait until you can buy an SCT for your 6.0 and run it stock for now. Just my opinion.
