powermax no whistle at idle?

Ok just got a powermax turbo and got a tune from innovative xtreme x to match my mods and i noticed the turbo doesnt have a whistle at idle. It sounds like the stock 04 turbo i had before. When i give it some throttle i can hear the louder pitch but at idle its not whistling.

Do you have the converter in place? If so that may be why.

I'd be glad if it didn't whistle. I prefer the throaty rumble of a single turbo 6.4.

Doesnt whistle in park or neutral.

Mine doesn't whistle either at idle just when I give it throttle.

Im starting to think that extreme x tune has the vanes set to where its not so loud.

Its all in the tuning. Since it is a custom tune you can request Eric to write it how ever you want. If you want it to whistle more at idle tell him so he can have the veins adjusted to your liking.

Does anyone know what position is the loudest at idle. I love the sounds and would like yo csll him tomorrow.

Talked to innovative and had eric set the position of the vanes to where its as loud as it can whistle. Well downloaded the new tune and no difference.

I had a pmax and it didn't take any special tuning to make it whistle. Where did you get the turbo?
