Under bost at idle?

I have a 04 F350 with 20k miles. The unison ring was replaced at the stealership several months ago. It solved the turbo lag and the turbo spools fine now and monitor shows its building boost fine. Now in the morning on cold start up it keeps throwing an underboost code just backing out of the garage. The rpms are'nt even up to make boost yet. What would cause it to throw this code at idle?

Re: Under bost at idle?

False code most likely, I see it every now and again, usually just clear it and go about my business.

There may be a program update to fix the code being set at idle, isn't something I'd be worried about.

Re: Under bost at idle?

Thanks for responding. its not a one time thing though. it is throwing the code every time I start up cold. I have even cleared it only to have it come right back. Could a bad sensor cause this? I did a search on this but could not find anyone else having this problem.I was hoping for a false code but it has become pretty consistant. I don't think I'm gonna be that lucky.
