MBRP 5", HD300, AFE S2 = BIG PROBLEM! :(
I have a 2008 Job 2 with 164K miles, today i installed my exhaust and downloaded the HD300 tune, took the truck for a spin and did one 15psi launch and truck pulled like a freight train, came to a stop light and started blowing white smoke! Got the truck home and tried different tune settings, still blowing white smoke.. plugged the sensor after the dpf in to see if it would make a difference it didnt, drove the truck and as i got home it was POURING oil on the passenger side, i looked under the truck and its all along the underside of the truck, pulled cold side pipe off the intercooler it has oil in it and i have oil coming out of my exhaust. doesnt make sense to me at all...

Re: MBRP 5", HD300, AFE S2 = BIG PROBLEM! :(
this happened after the exhaust install, i had the tuner on for a week and last night was able to use the fpf delete tunes, before that the truck was fine. truck idles fine at first then the sound changes and has a really loud diesel engine noise. any ideas where the oil could be coming out of on the passenger side?

You could check the glow plug harness. If the CCV is too great it will push out the gp wiring and spill oil.

The dealership said it looks like its comin from the glow plug harness area, what could cause the oil in tailpipe?

Re: MBRP 5", HD300, AFE S2 = BIG PROBLEM! :(
The dealership just called me, codes P0263 0284 0308, performed relative compression test, cylinder #1 and #8 are LOW. power balance test 1&8 were low. They need to perform a manual compression test, told me it may need a new engine or valvetrain, i purchased the truck with an aftermarket warranty, has dpf delete & tuner... thats my only scare now is them not wanting to cover it...

Did you check your oil level? Did it smell like fuel?

I hate to say this but it sounds like the engine is done for. Same issue on mine happen when #1 injector failed and hydro locked my cycl. I hope its not true for you but i would right away change it back to stock A.S.A.P!!!! mine blew up on the turnpike in a winter storm pulling a trailer and i didnt have a chance to change it back and ford nailed me for a new motor. If so i had Elite build me a awesome motor for $1500 more than a new crate motor.
