shut off or disable tcs

I am wanting to end this systems life. On chains12 single wheel he can shut it off and on for good by holding the switch like 10 seconds. On my dually icant do that. Can ford go in and do this for me? Nothing worse then laying the hammer down and getting a nice big defuel....

Re: shut off or disable tcs

are you sure your holding it long enough?

I know I dont have a dually but in my single rw I hate having to do it every time I get in and want to go through mud or even loose dirt its aggravating. I'd like to find someone on here or anywhere who has a "cut this wire" solution haha.

Re: shut off or disable tcs

yes. i held it for a mile one day. on a single wheel its 5 seconds. i can turn it on off each time. but i want it gone. nothing worse then in defueling when your tires spin a little and your loaded with cattle.... they didnt think that one out very far for guys who actually tow.

Re: shut off or disable tcs

This has been hashed out several times and no, there's no known solution.

There is an enhancement request on H&S forums for this. Like one other person chimed in. If 100 people did, maybe H&S would put some heat on this request.

Enhancement Request: State of Traction control

Yea, that is B.S., it works on a single rear wheel but not a dually that is dumb.

This might work but will be pain, but have you tried 4 low? You would have to constantly stop and switch back a forth but if it helped?
