Installed TransferFlow's Filler Neck Kit
After a little better than a 6 week wait the filler necks finally came in.
The front tank install was pretty easy, took less than a hour. Didn't have to drop the tank and everything was in reach. The rear was a little more involved and took about 3 hours, still not too bad though. The tank does have to be lowered due to the placement of the vent. With a near empty tank it wasn't horrible but it was some work. The kit had everything that is needed. Instructions were good and fit and finish acceptable. The vents that TF uses are the now obsolete Ford C&C vents. I assume they purchased a bunch from Ford. The kits together were $560 through OC diesel (I know but they were the cheapest). I went and filled up and it took 7 minutes to fill both tanks to the rim of the filler neck, the rear being near empty and the front having a 1/4 tank. That would normally take me 20 minutes to get that full. No pictures just wanted to put this out there if anyone else was contemplating getting these.

Re: Installed TransferFlow's Filler Neck Kit
I'm glad I can save $560 by having several c-n-c parts trucks

Re: Installed TransferFlow's Filler Neck Kit
I'm just glad I bought the TFI kit 10 years ago for $250.

Re: Installed TransferFlow's Filler Neck Kit
Wish my father had. I assume the price continues to rise as they get closer to depleting their stock of obsolete Ford vent valves.

Re: Installed TransferFlow's Filler Neck Kit
These really suck to install with the box on, I have done it both ways and really prefer to do it with the box off, with the box on and tanks installed was not fun at all, especially since I am not the smallest person. I have only installed them on trucks with utility beds and that makes it even more of a pain. Glad it worked good for ya.
