Talking Another OBS-05 Axle Swap....Only Dually!
So I've been looking for a set of 05+ axles for my dually for a while now and finally found a set that didn't have me buying an entire totaled truck for $3500+. I picked up a set about 80 miles east of me for $1200 for BOTH! with King Ranch wheels! Here are some pictures of the rear swap so far!



New to me axles



Old Axle OUT! Buddy was holding the rear of the truck up for me lol



New axle IN




Moved on its own power!



Looks like i picked up a little lift too lol

Nope, boxing the front of the frame and having the 5 speed rebuilt with the output and tail house unit from a blow ZF from a customers vehicle.

So the springs are spaced the same distance apart as the OBS so just a bolt in conversion?

How easy is the swap sense your already a coil sprung 2wd?
I'd assume you don't have to move the front coil spring buckets because there already centered?
