Good deal on a New 2011?

Recently got a really good job so searching for a new F-250. Found a 2011 XLT CrewCab 2wd with like 85miles for $38K. Also, the company I work for has a contract with Ford so I can get their special pricing, Called X-Plan. Sound like a good deal? What are bad things about the 2011's?

If I was told right the X-Plan will pretty much drop 4-5K on the price. So is 34-35K still alot for a brand new truck?

It is for a 2wd in my book. But if you dont need the 4wd then yes that isnt too bad. I would try and beat them up on it more only because it is a brand new 2 year old truck. I honestly would look at 2012s or wait a few more months for a 2013.

Check with the dealer too, I also have the x-plan but was told I couldnt use it with the rebates. That has been 10 years though.

Not bad for a 2wd XLT. If you get it for the $34K-$35K range then I say go for it for sure. I thought I did pretty good, got my 2011 F350 4x4 Lariat CC for $43.9K (stickered at $57.1K).

Yea I've only used 4wd twice, once was because I was looking for trouble (besides the hundreds of boosted launches ) It stickers for $48ish. I'll be sure to check if it will work with the X-Plan, I hope it will. If it won't work I'll build a XL with power everything and carpet floors, the dealership said I could build however I want and it won't cost to build or ship it with the X-Plan. I love the black grille and bumpers

Never bought a truck with a warranty, what all can be done to keep the warranty? I heard if I can get the dealership to put on a programmer then it wouldn't void the warranty? Would a 4in DPF back exhaust void it?

The 4" DPF back won't gain you anything performance wise, or sound wise I doubt.
I bought my 11 4x4 CC 8' bed Lariat with everything but the Sun roof and Nav radio screen for 50k back in September of 10! Got 13k off the sticker then.... just sounds like 38k is a bit high for an XLT.... 2wd... don't know.

how are you guys getting that much off sticker????? I looked at an 11 F350 CC dually XLT 2wd and they had the price jacked up to $71,XXX....... I told them they were going to sell it to me for List plus 10% ..... they laughed ......
