Best daily tune with a stock 6.4

Ok guys ive been thinking and i want my truck to last a long time with no repairs, so currently im running the kem 345 tune, and i like it, it gives me the best fuel millage increase and tons of power. Im running a SCT livewire extreme and I also have kem's 75,150, and the 345 tune. Which tune would be the best and safest to run? Stock SCT tunes? KEM tunes? I do some pulling with my truck, I work out of town alot and when I get home I do some side work, mostly the only thing I ever pull anywhere is a mini excavator which is about 10,000 lbs including the trailer. Not sure if it matters but i have the Flo Pro cat and dpf delete and the Flo Pro dpf back duals

the highest hp tune usually results in the best mileage but you will also have the tendency to get on the skinny pedal which could result in some damage to the engine over time. also it could cause damage when towing, unless you are careful

When I tow I switched to the kem 150 tune. So would you recommend I run the kem 150 tune for my daily tune, Is that a safe tune?

i dont run H&S but i would run the highest tune just for the sake of MPG and when you tow just tune down to whatever you normally do

High hp tune and drive it like you can't afford to fix it.

Re: Best daily tune with a stock 6.4

Here's my dyno from this past weekend (530 HP/1047 Torque)...

That's on Gearhead's Street tune (NOT Hot Street) and for reference my buddy's '08 running Spartan's 275 HP tune dyno'd @ 491 HP and just under 1K torque (can't remember the exact number...)

It's as "safe" to use as any other high HP tune. I tow an enclosed car carrier which scales at about 8K loaded. Gearhead tunes also seem to be much more accurate insofar as the Lie-O-Meter (LOM) is concerned too. I've experienced as high as 17.4 MPG (hand calculated) to as low as 9.1 MPG.

So stay with the 345 tune and just be safe with it? And how do you hand calculate it. My truck says I get like 19.5 cruising around town

My Xt-Race on the hwy, gets me a computer MPG of 24-26....

Really? Ok, here it is.

1) go to fuel station.
2) Zero both your trip odometers.
3) Fill up.
4) at next fill up, note your # of miles.
5) Fill up. Divide miles by gallons.

That is the only accurate way to do it.

My IDP Xt-Street can get me 18 on the hwy. My kem 345 only got 16.
the new IDP X got me 17 on a recent trip and the cruise, throttle control was awesome. I was getting 15ish in town recently as well.

I'm currently using the IDP Xt-Race, which can get me 16.
