My results with WMO

Started running WMO in my trucks back in February of this year. Been using WMO and ATF, whichever I have more of at the time. Used fluids go into 55 gallon drums to settle, then run through the Dieselcraft centrifuge at around 200 degrees, then into the storage tank, then into the truck.
Here's the things I have noitced. EGT, much lower than before. Several hundred degrees lower. Power, seems the same. Torque, seems like it has doubled. Towing, the trucks are unstoppable. Mileage, has increased about 1-2 MPG depending which truck I'm driving. Engine, idles much quieter.
The only time I have any smoke issues, is when it first fires up on a cold morning, or when i'm sitting at idle for an extended period of time. I'm thinking a higher ICP may help in this area.
I'd like to play around with some custom tunes eventually.

Eh, I was wrong. Owner neglected to tell me he hasn't changed the fuel filter in the 6 years of owning the machine. Works just fine

Re: My results with WMO

Burning straight WMO is likely to reduce the life of the diesel engine. Blending waste oils at 50% with diesel fuel when the ambient temperatures are above freezing will extend the life of the engine.

Blending waste oils with kerosene at 30% when the ambient temperatures are above 0F will extend the life of the engine.

Blending waste oils with gasoline at 20% when the ambient temperatures are above -30F will extend the life of the engine.

Re: My results with WMO

How did you come up with those figures Jeffery? I plan on running straight WMO (starting and stopping on diesel) and warming it inline with a liquid to liquid heater. My 7.3 has about 90k miles on it, getting new (rebuilt rosewood) injectors, 17' HPOP and the other usual upgrades... life expectancy estimates?
