need help with trans cooler lines
i need to replace my transmission cooler lines but i cant get the new ones in. It almost seems like you would have to pull the engine to get enough clearance. this cant be the case. any tips and help would be appreciated. thanks

Re: need help with trans cooler lines
is there no one out there who knows how to get the new trans cooler lines in. I'm stuck and can't get them through between the oil pan and the cross member. my trucks been down for a few weeks till i could get all my parts and new trans. I can't believe this is what is holding me up.

No personal experiance and the last I remember reading the engine mounts had to be unbolted and the motor raised ,, but that was just a read and not doing it myself sry

Re: need help with trans cooler lines
They are installed at the factory before the engine and trans are installed. I think that tells you something about how the new ones are installed.
It would be WAY easier to use 1/2" trans fluid rated rubber line.
