6.0 blowing out white smoke
my dad has a 6.0 and this morning going to work it was pouring out white smoke from the exhaust so bad it looked like there was fog outside. finally settled down a bit but kept doing it all day. head gaskets?? or possibly a stuck injector or something?
whats do you guys think?? i own a 7.3 and im not familar with his 6.0

get that egr cooler off there before it takes the headgaskets with it. Don't forget the oil cooler too.

What does the smoke smell like?
Are you losing coolant leve in your degas bottle?

A failed injector can look the same way. Hopefully the OP has figured out his issue - whatever it is .....

Make sure its smoke... a blown egr will blow steam out of the exhaust and it will look like white smoke. If he's losing coolant that's probably the culprit.

Egr cooler or injector..smell the exhaust and injector will smell strongly of fuel
