I have a 01 F250 that came from TX, no cat. Passed CA smog check.

99.5 PSD. Had factory exhaust on it when I bought it. No cat. I think there may be a sticker somewhere in the engine bay stating the "no cat" configuration from the factory.

There is. It's on the valve cover.

Emission stations can also pull the VIN to verify as well.
