Re: Newbie Questions

So I got the truck back from the "mechanic", the paper he gave me says "#2 injector failed buzz test. Did cylinder contribution test, #2 and #8 fail" Can anyone tell me what this test means and possible causes???

Re: Newbie Questions

You have a few causes, uvch gone bad, injector gone bad, cps sensor can throw #8, dirty fuel filter. If you have a volt meter, ohm the uvch harnrsses out, record #'s, check for melted harness plugs too

Thanks, is there any way to test the cps or is it just a change and hope for the best?

Re: Newbie Questions

you may have a code for it, otherwise, change it if you feel necessary, if not, no worries, its a good idea to keep a spare in the glove box
