Whats it worth?

I found a 1991 f250 bricknose extended cab w the 6.9 It is a manual transmission w 4x4. Its pretty clean, the mileage tho is 356xxx. I think hes asking too much at $4,500.

Re: Whats it worth?

I want a 6.9 4x4 manual trans truck to have as a toy, not a brick nose though, but I certainly would not pay that price. I would go half that if it were in good shape.

Re: Whats it worth?

Now that i think about it, it could be a 7.3. Its clean all stock from what i can tell. I would go at most $2500.

It came from the factory w a 7.3. Someone would of had to put the 6.9 in place of the 7.3. The 6.9 is actually a better engine

Re: Whats it worth?

What makes it better? I had a 7.3 powerstroke and it was very problematic but it was also cashed out.

A 7.3 powerstroke and a 7.3 idi are way different. The 7.3 idi was not the greatest, the 6.9 was a pretty good engine. And the idi trucks were very easy to wrench on.

Re: Whats it worth?

the 6.9 got poor mileage because it was high reving engine due to the direct drive trans. the 7.3 was much better on fuel due to the overdrive trans offered.

Re: Whats it worth?

Well im fine w a 7.3 IDI or a 6.9 it probably wont be a DD ive got a f150 that does fine. If he wont go down on price he can keep it. The miles dont lie.
