Re: Napa 6637 intake finished with pictures
i help people all the time with turbo, hpop and injector choices. i'll be the guy in the pavement princess. but in all seriousness, when you get ready to do a build (i saw a thread about your aspirations) you have 2 really good shops in your state that will help you out.

Re: Napa 6637 intake finished with pictures
well you got to buy parts from somewhere and its nice to be able to pick peoples brains. when i lived in nashville i could just drive to swamps or beans and just pick their brains. it was nice

Re: Napa 6637 intake finished with pictures
Did someone say the 6637 got dirty too easy??? Does'nt that show that it IS filtering as it should????

Re: Napa 6637 intake finished with pictures
When i said that i meant it cost to much to replace every 10,000 miles, (farming=really dirty filter) its cheaper for me to buy the washable one instead

Re: Napa 6637 intake finished with pictures
Still don't make sense to me. I would think that in a dirty application you would want the better filtering filter but thats just me. Maybe get the washable prefilter along with the 6637

Re: Napa 6637 intake finished with pictures
[quote=300,000 and counting;1929891]If brains were dynamite you wouldnt have enough to blow your nose. Lets look at some facts, instead of making false accusation about something you read on the internet. Your factory filter flows 640 cfms
Wix 46728 & Napa 6728 Air Filter: FleetFilter Secure Online Store the napa 6637 has 425 cfms but flows better because theres less restrictions than the factory air box Wix 46637 & Napa 6637 Air Filter: FleetFilter Secure Online Store the afe big boost has 850 cfms, reason being it has more surface area, the louvers are deeper and it has the concave cone filter on the end. The more cfms don't come from lack of filtering they come from more surfaces area. aFe Big Boost Filter Now the reason the afe big boost is better than the napa is that it safely flows more air and its washable. It flows the same did you read back on the thread^^^ and gets dirty the same but whenever it gets dirty I wash it and put it back on instead of buying anther 35$ filter. Its cheaper in the long run |
