You don't need resistors. If you don't install them you will get hyper flash. But I personally like the hyper flash because its different. So I didn't install my resistors.

My mirror lights bug the hell out of me and not to mention one side of my recons sh*t the bed so I just pull the leds on the other side.

Yeah for real.. Idk how much I've spent on recon products over the years but the LEDs on almost everything I've bought some of them went out. Pisses me off
