F-450 wheel options

was wondering if anyone sells some 17 or 18 inch wheels for the 2008-2010 F-450s. I would actually love some 16s but i dont think they would fit. I don't like they tire selections for the stock 19.5s, and all the larger wheels are gay too. besides maybe a 20 in srw conversion, prices?. any help appreciated.

Re: F-450 wheel options

Oh btw, I have looked at rickson wheel and stazworks. I might try calling them if I ever get time. Does anyone know if I got some 16x9s with the 10x225 bolt pattern steel wheels custom made will the 16s clear the caliper? Or if someone already has or knows someone that makes/has custom wheels. Reason i would love some 16s is to run the military 325/85r16 michelins. I think it would look sick on the f450 dually.

Re: F-450 wheel options

On a 450 you have to clear a 14.5" rotor and related brake hardware. Iirc you need a 20" rim in a single or at least the 19.5 in the dually...

Re: F-450 wheel options

yep. you won't clear anything smaller than the stock 19.5s. with the stock brakes.

Re: F-450 wheel options

It's not that 16" wheels are cool. Its the military rubber that would be bada$$. It seems it would be better to just get a 350 and upgrade the brakes.

ya, the XL, XZL, XML all are availiable in 20" rims. even down to around the 40-42" tall range IIRC.
