race settings on HS Mini

what are the best settings for "racing" i tried the hd300 on hot s1m lbf5 and runs good anything that i can change for it to run better?

You could try the mild tuning on the hot setting (250 hp ) with lbf 5. I think I saw somewhere that a guy had better track times on the 250 hot as compared to the 300 hot. Also make sure all the defuels are turned off.

Might give that a try, my boost defuel was 38psi, and the truck would defuel, is it "safe" if i turn the boost defuel off, whats the "maximum safe" psi the turbos can go and truck can handle?

I'm not sure what a safe number would be but for the tranny relearn they say to shut off all defuels before doing the runs in the hot setting

Gotcha... What shift schedules would be good for racing?

I myself am not a racing guy but I would try one of the s1 tunes. They lock the tc in 4 and 5. I daily drive the s1m and it seems to feel good when I floor it. However like I said i don't race so maybe someone else with a little more expertise in that area will chime in.

Where is the hd 300 tune on the mini max. I just got mine last week and all I see is the hot tune.

Check your version in the settings screen. I you are at 6.4.34 or higher then you just have to go through the download prices again and select hd300 for the tune option. When you first put it on did you notice an option for easy, mild or hot damm tunes?

You can only select the HD300 if you remove the DPF and select dpf removed!

I have the mini maxx now and been playing with the MCC tuning. Running in Hot with the HD300 on SL1 for trans tuning is the best for racing, 12lbs 4wd launch is more than plently and should get you out of the hole the fastest.
