tint

Out of curiosity what's everybody running for window tint? I'm just 15% on the fronts but I'm debating on doing 5% all the way around. Anyone else blacked out at all?

I rode in a friends truck around sunset with 5 on the front and I could not see a damn thing without rolling the windows down. I have great eye sight and no glasses or contacts. I'm sorry but its just dangerous having them that dark in the front IMO, and I really don't blame the police for ticketing people for it. It sure looks good from the outside though.

I've got 5 all the way around and its really nice during the day, but if u haul then its not worth it. Its impossible to see a trailer behind you. Probably about to cut the tint down to about 20%. I'm in LA and we have a legal requirement of 40% for the front on trucks. Its not enforced much, I got a window tint exemption thru the state troopers. Its a pain, but saved me from paying a ticket. Its luck of the draw on getting pulled over for it, but its definitely something to consider. The 1st ticket here is about $250-300, 2nd is gonna cost about $1000 though. There are pros and cons, but my personal opinion is if you haul, its not worth it. Looks cool tho

I have 15% on all my windows except for the windshield, i have a 10" strip across the top. On my last truck I had 35% on the front windshield, 5% 10" strip across the top, and 5% over 15% on all the rest of the windows and loved it. I am wanting to redo mine to atleast 5% if not 5% over my 15%

I don't tow nearly as much as I used to now that I'm not racing so my 20' enclosed doesn't see a whole lot of time anymore. With the tan interiors it just seems like it holds too much light imo. My windshield strip is 5% I believe.

20% on the front two, 5% over factory tint on back three. Comes out to like 1-2% on the back windows. Windshield has 40% all over and a 10" deep strip at the top that is 5%.
