Re: Is it the HPOP???

Lemme talk to my wife tonight.

Might set up a time for you to swing by and go through my parts pile. I have several 15* pumps.

Took it out and you made it into your T-500 pump and I still have same issue. Are these pumps rebuilt to factory specs before you do what ever it is you do or do you just do what ever it is you do ,clean em up and send em out? If this was some how a bad pump to begin with, is it still a bad pump now just with your guts in it?
Your pump was bench tested before disassembly. It passed.

Disassembled it, cleaned all ports, threw it in the Ultrasonic cleaner, reassembled it with T500 swashplate, bearing, etc. Bench tested again, passed.

If there is a piston problem, I would have seen it and it would have failed the bench test. Are you sure your under valve cover rail plugs are not leaking?

Can you run a Rotational Velocity Test?

The last guy that thought he had a pump issue, I sent a replacement......and he never sent the first unit back...... I don't do that anymore.

Re: Is it the HPOP???

The truck I got had that problem but it didn't die when it got hot, it just did it randomly and then couldn't restart at all, problem ended up being thewindshield rotted OFF, literally, and filled the PCM with water, bought the truck for 800 bucks got a new PCM and it was perfect. Now powering my 94 bronco

Re: Is it the HPOP???

Well I finally got my truck figured out and fixed!!!!!

Now I am not gonna bad mouth anyone or talk down about anyone BUT I pulled the T500 out of my truck and bought a brand new Bosch factory 17* pump and installed it in my truck. I have already put 150 miles on the truck with NO problems what so ever. It doesn't matter how you drive the truck, up and down hills or WOT runs, it doesn't miss a lick and if you shut it off and then crank it right back up (like at a drive through) it fires right back up and purrs like a kitten.

So come to your own conclusions but I now love my truck again!
