Anybody switched from ready lift to Icon

Im thinking of switch my 2.75 Ready Lift to a 2.5 Icon springs. Or should I just upgrade shocks cause right now I dont like the way my truck wonders all over the road. I did go with the SST kit also.

Re: Anybody switched from ready lift to Icon

no experience with readylift, but I switched from skyjacker to ICON and the difference is night and day. If you got the $$$ go with the icon you wont regret it.

Re: Anybody switched from ready lift to Icon

Shocks won't really help the wander. An adjustable trac bar, upgraded steering stabilizer and Radius arm drops will help you tighten up your steering

Re: Anybody switched from ready lift to Icon

I got a BDS Steering Stabilizer kit and it didnt help at all. I guess Ill buy some drop brackets and a adjustable Trac Bar. The problem then who will actually know how to adjust the trac bar?

Re: Anybody switched from ready lift to Icon

The trac bar is what centers the front axle. My 2.5 leveling kit brought spacers to drop the trac bar proportional to the lift. I believe adjust the bar and visually centering it is the best bet.
after a spacer, trac bar drop and new shocks, I still have a little
Play in my steering wheel. I'm waiting on dropping the radius arms to push the axle forward again and hopefully bringing back the tightness in steering.

Re: Anybody switched from ready lift to Icon

I'm running an icon 4.5 with RCX/bilstein dual stabilizers. No issues here at all. I love it.
