Another OBS-05 Axle Swap....Only Dually!

The SD coil buckets are not interchangeable to the OBS ones. The only thing i have to do more then a 4x4 truck is box the front of the frame. To me its worth it. Truck has been great and needs body work but the drivetrain is perfect with 230k. I got it in 09 with 165K on it. NO RUST not even surface and its never seen mud or salt! a true FL truck!

700 for front and rear wheels and axle with 235/85/16 missing one rear center cap. Fronts are shot but have 4 215/85/16 for 40ea or work something out. They have no clear and were stripped and polished by a buddy. PM me if you want them. I'll even put them on your truck for ya!

Seeing as the OBS 4x4 and the 05+ trucks are that way i figured it would be a good thing to do it also to prevent the frame from excess strain

But the coil springs mount in the same location as stock

Correct, however it bolts to the engine crossmember section of the frame. Which any 4x4 truck has it boxed up front and ran into the engine cross. Best way i can think about it is to add strength and to prevent the frame from strain or tweaking with even more added weigh up front moving side to side l-r during normal driving

There is no need to box the frame in Front of the coil spring mounts. The only reason the SD had the frame boxed was to make it simple and make One frame

Every 05+ truck i look at the front of the frame is boxed on 4x4 and 2x4 is open.

I just grabed a T case and a 4X4 5 speed. Looks like the front is going on soon!!
