Maf star bolts?

Hey all,

So I'm doing a dpf delete, spartan tuner, and intake on my friends truck. I popped the hood to have a look at things and the bolts to get the maf off looks like a star with a center pin. I have never seen these, but I'm no mechanic or anything. If someone can enlighten me on this, maybe with the name of the tool and the size? Or an alternative way of removing it,it'd be much appreciated!

I think the name is TORX. I bought a set from a hardware store that had half the sizes with the little hole and the other half were solid.

if a torx has a center pin it is a security bolt

harbor freight has a kit full of them in a red box that fits a drill

Sears has them too, if there's no Harbor Freight near you.

Depending on what CAI your installing may come with the tool. I know that the S&B I had on 6.0 and 6.4 both came with the tool.

i turned those little bolts off with a needle nose and replaced with regular phillips head bolts.

Tamper proof torx and tamper resistant torx are a couple other names for them
