nope, not a big spender, just a "willing to save for a whil'er" lol and when i talked to swamps to get real world prices, dave gave me info about there being a single hpfp setup and a dual hpfp setup, i would go with the single hpfp pump setup though... i am beyond hard and drooling over a common rail 7.3 though, then the price makes it go limp again, but i have faith i'll get there one day, hence me wanting to hold off on anything else on the truck. and thanks man

IMO if you want a CR system save yourself some time and sell the truck and buy a 6.4... i love my 7.3 but i dont think i would ever dump that kind of money to switch the 7.3 to a CR unless it was strictly a puller or drag truck. Plus you still have a stock tranny which its days are limited with those sticks and thats another 4k or so. I mean you can do whatever you want with your truck in my opinion if you want a CR ditch the 7.3 and get a 6.4.

Why get a 6.4 when they are worse then the 6.0 for reliability? That just don't make sense. I think its a good idea if you got the time to save the money and do it right.

the 6.4 was a mammoth improvement over the 6.0L..especially in terms of average reliability.

there are always the anomalous trucks...but no freaking way would anyone consider the 6.0L more reliable than the 6.4L...

What have you done to the Transmission? Do you have traction problems? These are things to consider. You can make 900 h.p. and 1600 lb ft, but if you cant get it to the ground, what good are you doing?
