This is my first diesel, so I'm still an ignorant bastard. I noticed that My 6.4, along with a friend of mines, who did the same thing to his 08, seem to puff out a bunch of whitish, gray smoke. Yesterday was 9 degrees, and the entire time it was idling, it was spitting out this smoke. Engine sounds fine, and was hitting on all 8. No coolant, or oil loss. I do run anti-gelling additives, and cetane boost. The place I buy fuel also adds anti-gelling agents this time of year too. Just wondering if this is normal.

When its cold white/gray/bluish smoke seem to be fairly normal for the 6.4's that are deleted till they are warm.
