Just recently, my 06 started making a bird whistle kind of sound when I start it up after it's been sitting for a few days. It only does it for a second (like one chirp) and then goes away. I don't hear it (or don't notice it) when the engine is warm. Any ideas?
Noticed my 06 doing this as well, every morning. Not when warm. Watch oil pressure gauge on dash, mine does it just as gauge starts to move up. Oil pump maybe?? I run Rotella T6 5/40 and only use Ford filters. Mine is under the extended warranty, when I have a chance i'm taking it in.
