Any one try to p pump an idi yet. The pullers are starting to convert the powerstrokes to p pumps like stroked out. I would think an idi would be a whole lot easyer then a powerstroke.

Except for they a indirect injection meaning precombustion chambers rather that direct inject. Also the rods and wrist pins especially are way undersized for that kind of power. You can easily blow one up with the factory pump and a good turbo. Cost would exceed building the powerstroke.

There is at least one P-pumped IDI around, but I don't think it's been put back together. Split the block. Big surprise there.

Max lagod from hypermax had a p-pumped idi that had 1200 hp, but it was totally custom and was famous for being unreliable.:badidea:
