Hello. ....I am a broke college kid and fuel prices are crazy...I don't Have money to buy a fuel efficient car and I refuse to sell my truck which is my daily driver ...I was considering running Bio diesel. ...how do I get started? Or does anybody Have advice.

The first recommendation I have is to use google - it is your friend. Google straight vegetable oil and biodiesel. Read a couple dozen websites or articles and that will give you a good foundation to grow from.
Homebrew biodiesel is not cost effective for broke people. There is a fairly large investment in infrastructure needed to do that. Especially in older trucks - you need to be worried about your fuel lines being eaten by Bio.

I figured there would be start up cost to get the necessary equipment but I have a friend who may financially support me going to biodiesel. ...but in the ling run does running biodiesel save me money....versus just paying for fuel at the gas station as most people do..I'm looking at long term cost. I work at a restaurant and can get their used grease easily ...and can you run Bio diesel in small tractors as well?

Oh...I didn't know that....I'm thinking if there's lots of cost fir the filters and stuff Donnie may help if we use it on the farm Lol
