I have a 96 7.3 with 116,000 original miles one it. Got tired of replacing them little plastic bushings so gave this fix a try. Was real easy to do. Was only $40 also.

FORD Clutch FIX, Rod End PERMANENT FIX powerstroke too - eBay (item 260719575462 end time Jan-19-11 10:52:48 PST) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260719575462&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT)

I would highly recommend it. I was having problems getting mine into first and reverse. Now shifts like it is brand new.

Good info. Thank you. I will be doing mine soon. It feels soft, has too much free pedal, and I need to push it into the grill to get it to hit the switch to start the truck.

I like it a lot. Mine was pretty bad. Never could get it into first or reverse. Had to be an expert driver on this truck to get it going. But now it is good a new. I love it.
