96 powerstroke. check engine light randomly comes on and truck runs extremely rough. edge brings up no codes. changed fuel filter, and recently changed cam sensor.
any ideas? thanks

Use something else to scan for codes.
If you get a CEL then a code has been stored.

in case anyone was wondering, i had someone else scan it and it came up with #7 injector circuit low and exhaust pressure sensor was bad too.

UVC harness probably...smell oil cap ..if it smells burn't plastic you know what you need to do...

gonna pull the valve cover off tomorrow and check the clip first before i buy i complete harness.
