My headlight switch went bad, the rheostat has shorted. The only issue is that I tried a jumper to be sure that it is the only issue and fuse 10 for the instrument cluster lamps went out again. I'm usually pretty good with electrical systems, but this one has left me scratching my head.
Is there anything behind the dash, or the fuse box that could easily short the lt. blue/red wire for the instrument lamps?
The lamps wont come on at all and the jumper had a nice orange glow from the hot wire to the opposite end of fuse 10.
